Common Questions

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a master's-level clinician who designs and oversees ABA treatment plans. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is trained to implement those plans under the supervision of a BCBA during direct therapy sessions.
If your child has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, or related behavioral challenges — or if you have concerns about communication, behavior, or daily living skills — a behavioral assessment can help determine if ABA is appropriate. Contact us for a free consultation.
Absolutely. ABA is effective across the lifespan. For adults, goals often focus on independent living skills, employment readiness, social relationships, and quality of life. Avanza serves clients of all ages.
Prior diagnostic reports, IEP documents, insurance cards, and any previous therapy records are helpful. If you've completed our online intake forms in advance, that's even better — it allows your BCBA to prepare thoroughly.
